For Nothing, by Nicholas Denmon

DESCRIPTION
Undercover cop Alex Vaughn goes deeper than ever into the organized crime family of Buffalo, NY. Motivated by justice and revenge, he seeks out the assassin that laid his friend Jack low.

Professional killer Rafael Rontego traverses the deadly politics of Buffalo’s mafia underbelly. In a city whose winter can be just as deadly as those wielding power, Rontego tries to stay ahead of the game.

Their two worlds collide in this epic thriller that takes the reader on a search for self, justice, and truth.

MY TAKE...Take it to the Mattresses!
For all the Mafia thriller junkies out there...FOR NOTHING is your "fix".

Able to compete with Goodfellas, Sopranos, and The Godfather, Nicolas Denmon has created a story that will have you on the edge of your seat, and unable to put it down.

What first attracted me to this book was the cover. The clever art caught my eye, and as I'm a big believer in judging a book by its cover, I knew the contents would be just as intriguing.

I was right!

When I read the sample, I couldn't get enough...I was hooked! The author's description of every scene and every emotion put me in the center of the pages of this book, and at times, I wondered if it was me who was standing over the body or stepping into the dark alley...

Rafael is a ruthless killer, but Alex is out for revenge. At the center of everything, war is being waged between the Mafia families. Never a dull moment in this action-packed thriller.

Very well organized--no pun intended!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Mafia wars and bloodshed at its best.

Looking forward to book two.
